Barkley was found on Super Bowl Sunday 2025. When he was found his eyes were blood shot, he was in shock, and had limited movement making up believe he was hit by a car. After taking him to the emergency vet, we believe someone attempted to end his life and and tossed him out of their car.

Luckily for Barkley this was a new chance on life.

Barkley is now about 8 months old and doing great! He has started acupuncture to increase nerve stimulation in his back legs, and to help control his bladder. He’s is a whopping 23 pounds and full of joy! He can run, play, eat (a lot), and lots of cuddles. He is a special needs pup and will need special care for the rest of his life, but is expected to live a long healthy life. He has been adopted by Alexis who is one of our board members and my son Patrick. He will have the best life and lots of love!
