Our Story

SomeDayCame Rescue and Rehabilitation is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located near Lake City, Florida. We are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of horses and dogs in need of help from abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment, and providing them a sanctuary where their physical and emotional well-being can be restored. Another crucial responsibility of SomeDayCame is finding suitable, loving, and permanent adoptive homes for rescued animals which involves careful matching with potential adopters and providing support during the transition. We also work to educate the public about responsible ownership, animal health, and the importance of preventing abuse and neglect.
